Mark 6:7-13

In today’s reading Jesus is sending the disciples to the village round there to preach, to heal and to help them. He knew that the world was in dark so he gave charge to the twelve disciples. And they go together two in a group each. Without Jesus they can’t do anything so Jesus gave them the authority over evil. He also told them not to carry anything since they have to be as simple as they can be. They have to eat whatever the village people provide and if they don’t provide then they are not suppose ask, but if any house does not receive them in the name of Jesus they must just leave that place and shake the dust from their sandals. Let that be a warning for them. In the same way Jesus wants us to go away from one home without relying on worldly things and have to preach to the world  about God’s kingdom and have to heal many people and drive out any evil spirit.
